So I saw Live Free or Die Hard last night...and while it was fun, I was also appalled at the blatantly racist comments directed against Asians. Seriously, Chris Tucker says all these racist comments about Asians that are meant to get laughs...if those same things were said about Black people, the NAACP would be boycotting the movie. In Live Free or Die Hard, one of the bad girls is Asian..and Bruce Willis constantly refers to her as an Asian hooker and, at one point, says he's tired of all this "kung-fu $hit," and the whole theater started cracking up. Everyone in the theater started laughing everytime he referred to her being an "Asian hooker" or "Asian chick." I'm so tired of Asians being the object of derisive laughter...it's like we allow Black and White people to take advantage of us and say all these terrible things while we just sit by and allow it. I have had brief numbness in my nose, thumb, index and middle finger. About a minute later my nose still felt the same but the numbness left my 3 fingers and moved to my ring and pinky finger. I've also been having an odd blindness in my eye, first starting with blurriness on the left side of my left eye, to two vertical kaleidoscope looking lines in both eyes. Not sure what's going on with me?

Well, this is my first time kind of speaking on this but it is getting to the point where i have to do either do one or two things. Either fix and uplift or just let it be. I not realize that i haven't been the same in the past 6 months. I am very moody. I can be in good spirts one minute then all of the sudden become in a bad mood. It is like the littlest things get on my nerves. I become irritated really ease. At times, I don't want to be around no one but in the same sense, i want to be around. I feel guilt when i don't do what others ask or if i forget to do something for someone. In a way, i just feel empty and hopeless. I am a sensitive person. When i feel sad, it is just like i can just bust out crying. At times, I even get teary-eyed and don't understand why. I can literally be fine one minute then upset or have an anger facial expression. I think I do a pretty good job in hiding my feelings or facial expressions from family anf friends. I feel that they are catching on. I keep alot of things in such as my feelings, emotions, stuff at work, etc. The most disturbing thing is that i have sudicial thoughts pop in my head and they were happening more frequently toward the end of the year. i had a "thought" and it scared me and i cried in my office. I feel that everyone is judging me for the good and bad that i do. I feel like people expect so much from me. I feel like i dispoint people. Now no one has ever came to me and say, I was a disppointment but i feel like i am. I just don't know what to do. Since the new year begin, i've been in a great more. Even feeling a sense of peace and worth. But i scared that i will slip back into this "funk" i am in. In a way, i feel like i am going crazy in some sense. I don't handle situations well at all. I don't feel appreicate. I have good family and friends support but i still feel like i am all alone. I want to talk with family and friends but i don't want to bring their feelings down with mines. A couple of months ago, i had been told by my boss and friend that I just look anger or upset all the time. The more I think about it, i have. I just been feeling like myself anymore. It a new year, I don't want to slip back in this funk, or have sudicial thoughts. I wouldn't committed it because i know i will hurt alot my family and friends. I really do love my life. I scared that the thoughts will come back and come even stronger. I just want to do something about it. I need to get out of this funk. It is like I feel so sorry for myself and i don't know that reason why. I also worry about everything. It can be the littlest things and i'll worry about it. That could be why my stomach hurts at times. I could literally pull out my hair. I do belive that i was very close to having a nervous breakdown. CVS Bad customer service... denial of service!?

Last night, at around 11:10p.m., I went to a CVS pharmacy and asked the pharmacist to ist me in getting a medicine for a series of prescriptions. My insurance expired on July 31st and we only had about an hour to get the medicine on the insurance. To my surprise, the pharmacist had a 'chip on her shoulder' and was terribly awful! To make a long story short, she ended up insulting my nephew (who was with me at the time, 12-year old) and myself. We ended up exchanging insults and she refused to ist me while sh was isgint other customers. Is there anything I can do to legally have CVS pay for this medicine? The pharmacist purposedly kept us there for almost 30-40 minutes. I spoke to the manager but he said there was nothing he could do but to complain to the main CVS hotline. I had explained the pharmacist the insurance situation and she still refused to serve us. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

The window dropped down without the help of the window motor. Now the motor will run but the window will not go up. I can slide the window up and down but the motor does nothing. I bcc'd the email to the owner of the company, and requested that he not say anything, as I didn't want the situation to escalate (quite frankly, I was scared of X's retaliation if she knew I told the owner). Within 2 hours of my verbally confronting X, she began resolution of a complaint against my husband, who also works for the same company. She fabricated facts and then docked my husband $250.00 pay based on the lies (I have company printouts that prove the lies), and that prove he is being singled out for disparate punishment. I'm feeling unsure of what to do--I am getting advice to sue X for battery and to hold the company vicariously liable--but this wasn't in the scope of her employment, was it?

No air blown out on dashboard in 02 Jeep Grand cherokee?

Please help. I have a 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but a few month ago, air stopped blow out from dashboard no matter what position and level I put the air vent control. However, air does come out from the top defrost vent, and it does come out cold air if I put AC on or hot air if I put heat on. It's just not coming out from the front dashboard. I can deal with Winter time, but in this hot Summer, I have to put AC on it's highest level, and let cold air out from the defrost vent, and I will still be sweating. On the PC the old games like Unreal,Quake,Thief,etc. seemed to be wayyyyy more fun. So my friend is in the hospital, and he has an infection. It's the type of infection that you usually only get when you have HIV, and he has had unprotected . I have no idea what to do. I'm a picky eater...help!?

I am 26 and trying to lose some weight (i'm just at the high end of the "normal" scale), and am having a heck of a time finding things I like to eat. I've been eating a bowl of cereal for breakfast and dinner (nothing sugary...never have liked that stuff), and the problem is that I LOVE pasta, so I have that a lot for lunch - with er and parm cheese. OK OK I LOVE carbs! I hate most veggies (I do like broccoli, cauliflower, corn, green beans, raw carrots [not cooked!], and potatoes. I also like a lot of fruit with the exception of canteloupe and melon. Oh, and I LOVE cheese. Also not a big meat eater, though I do like shaved turkey and chicken and also fish, just don't know how to prepare it. My TV out is not working on my ATI graphics card?

My agp ATI Radeon X1600 has a standard VGA output, as well as another port for HD component output. The port looks kind of like a S-video but different. The card came with an adapter that plugs into this with your HD component blue, green, and red cable inputs. The blue can also be used has regular composite video out via a regular RCA yellow cable. I know this to be true as I will explain later. In my Catalyst Control Center, there is a screen to enable my second display. I'm using a regular og TV, and all the cables are connected. What I'm supposed to do is, right click on the grayed out second display box, and click enable. When I do this my TV flickers, and then it goes right back to being disabled. If I turn on FORCE TV DETECTION, a little TV icon appears below my monitor icon. It says, right click for a drop down menu for options, or drag and drop to one of the top two boxes. Right clicking does nothing. No menu. Nothing. I can see where I'm supposed to drag it, but it doesn't let me. All I can do is drag the TV icon over top of my monitor icon, and a menu appears. The only option on this menu is "SWAP". When I swap, my picture appears on the TV perfectly, but I have nothing on my computer monitor. I've tried everything and determined I need some expert help. I'm trying to avoid downloading new ATI drivers as 1, it's a pain in the *** to uninstall and reinstall drivers for ATI, and 2. Mine are fairly new. How could they mess up their software that bad and release it to the public? It MUST be some issue I'm overlooking. Please help me, thank you.

If not, we call those schools "paper mills". They have no standards set or maintained by anyone. They are essentially peices of paper printed off of someone's inkjet printer and stamped to look pretty. I'm going to imagine that you went to a small school, paid a big fee and didn't take a 2400 to 3200 minutes of time per course, plus homework and study.

I grind my teeth as well. It is very bad for your teeth and my dentist noticed that my teeth were grinded down a bit. He made me a custom night guard to wear at night. It was very uneasy at first, but now I can't sleep without it. If your hubby can't see a dentist, then I highly recommend that he go to the drugstore and buy a night guard from there. Coleman Northstar dual fuel?

I just got this new Northstar lantern. I was wondering as I installed the mantel its not straight. The wire is in the grooves mounted ok. When its running it has a fast flicker. Is the flicker normal? Also when you turn it off, it gose out almost immediately and try to relight itself and that gose on for about 30 seconds or so. It's out in less than a minute. How do I burn an audio cd which will play in my car from a cd with mp3 files?

I have a cd containing 29 mp3 files that will not work in my car. Therefore, I'm trying to convert them to an audio cd format that will work in my car and burn them to new cd. My question is 3 fold...1) what file formats work in a stereo (cda?, wav?; I've read some say wav will and some say wav won't work); 2) how come all 29 mp3 files on my existing disc takes up about 550 MB but when I go to burn it as an audio cd I can only burn 2 of the files (the files are only 8MB but about 35 min in length) before it says the disc is full (I'm trying to burn it to a 700MB/80Min cd)? I understand more than 2 files of this length would exceed the 80 Min requirement but why was this not exceeded on the mp3 cd (it was also a 700MB/80Min cd)?

97 Chevy k3500 overdrive transmission problems?

I have a 97 Chevy 3500 dually with 4X4, 350 engine and auto trans. My problem is when driving down the highway in OD truck losses all power and the RPM gauge drops down to 0, when I shift from OD to 3rd the truck runs fine. Does not shift hard and all other gears run fine just the issue with overdrive. I had the power flushed and added conditioner but did not change the filter, changed engine oil and filter, changed all spark plugs, changed thermostate and flushed radiator, changed pcv valve and air filter. Can some one point me into a solution for my problem with the Overdrive issue. I really dont want to replace the whole transmission.

I have been having abnormal bleeding and acute abdominal pain since Nov 5, following the c-section of my 4th child. They can't get the bleeding to stop. I've had a d&c, a hysteroscopy, and taken methergine and progestines. I can't have other hormones because I have a clotting disorder. My OB said the only thing left to do is a partial hysterectomy where they will remove my uterus and cervix but leave both of my ovaries. The problem has gotten in the way of caring for my children, both my husband and my jobs and also our life. All the info I'm seeing is making me panick a bit. Will having this procedure done cause me to age more quickly and have a diminished drive? I also read that climaxes with are no longer the same, less gratifying due to the uterine contractions being absent. Are these things true? I know I can't go on with the pain and bleeding but I also don't want to start aging fast and no longer enjoying with my husband. Is there anyone who can tell me a little bit about what I can expect post-op? Thank you so much!

My 14 month old has stopped sleeping through the night and it's driving us mad !?

We have always had a routine of bathtime a story, bottle and bed. Nothing has changed apart from my son's behaviour. Admittedly he is getting older and is starting to have little tantrums here and there, but nothing we can't talk him out of. But at night it's a completely different thing. He will go straight to sleep when he is put down but within the hour he is standing up in his cot screaming i go into his room don't speak to him lie him down and then come out again. I can repeat this 10 times in half an hour. The minute I put him down he is standing up again before I have left the room, screaming. If he is crying for more than 15 min I will go in pick him up to calm him down, ( which it does) then put him down and he's stands up again. 2 and 1/2 hrs of screaming tonight ! What can I do !!

I went to my Doctor last week with a sharp stabbing pain in my left hand-side which I have now had for just over a week. She diagnosed Shingles and has prescribed Co-Dydramol (a strong pain killer) and Aciclovir (an anti-viral) which I have to take five times a day. I am off work for a week and resting as much as I can. Does anybody have any experience of dealing with Shingles, the pain is just awful, but fortunately the rash that you usually get with this infection hasn't materialised. Info on the web says that the pain etc can last for two to four weeks, but I suppose it varies from person to person. Any advice on how to deal with this would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

I know my mom felt the same way when she was trying to get her drivers license, at first I was scared to drive with her because she would always slam on the brakes at the last moment. But after a few months of practice she became a really good driver. But she never tried to hide her fear. She was always open that she didn't like driving.
